On the left side of these three sets of thin-walled tiles is the oil inlet side; is the contact angle too large?
The contact angle is relatively high; thin-walled tiles generally do not require grinding, but it is advisable to consult the manufacturer for advice
A comprehensive check is needed to determine whether the top clearance of the bearing shells is appropriate Is the lubricant viscosity within the acceptable range? Was it started under load? If the clearance of the thin-walled bearing shell is appropriate, the tightening force is proper (check that the remaining surface height may be too high), and the contact angle remains relatively constant, then there is no need for lapping.
It should be larger. For sliding bearings with a rotation speed above 500 r/min, the contact angle should be 60°; for those with a rotation speed below 500 r/min, the contact angle can be either 90° or 60°
