This hydrogen compressor utilizes cutting-edge technologies in high-pressure hydrogen compression, addressing the most critical issues related to output pressure and gas sealing. Its performance is significantly superior to that of mainstream imported compressors, marking a significant step forward in the localization of hydrogen compressors. In October 2023, the 45 MPa (read as 45 megapascals) ionic liquid hydrogen compressor, developed independently by a company, entered the testing phase. It is the first set of new energy compression and filling equipment in China, designed primarily for pressurizing hydrogen in hydrogen refueling stations, with a maximum compression pressure of 45 megapascals. The preliminary simulation tests using nitrogen and helium on the equipment have been completed, and next, actual operation tests using hydrogen will be carried out. In February 2024, Lansi Equipment Company was engaged in intensive debugging work for hydrogen testing of the 45MPa ionic liquid hydrogen compressor. Prior to this, they completed the high-pressure testing for helium compression; the current task is to ensure that the conditions for outdoor hydrogen testing are in place by April 2024, with an expert evaluation meeting to be held in May 2024.
