During the normal operation of the pump, what are the permissible temperature and vibration indicators for its bearings?
The normal temperature of pump bearings generally does not exceed 85 degrees Celsius. Vibration standards typically specify that a value of 7.1 mm/s or less in terms of the root mean square value is considered normal. There’s a problem with your reply. After lubrication and cooling, the bearing temperature of machine pumps generally does not exceed 55 degrees. For normal-temperature pumps, this temperature is usually around 40 degrees after lubrication and cooling. In the case of high-temperature pumps, due to the nature of the medium, the bearing temperature is somewhat higher; however, it must not exceed 65 degrees. If the bearing temperature goes above 70 degrees, the material properties of the bearing steel deteriorate, thereby affecting the overall operating condition of the equipment. As for vibration, Sinopec has standards for vibration in rotating machinery; you can look them up online – there are tables available on the internet. The required vibration levels vary depending on the motor’s power, and it is necessary to determine the appropriate vibration level based on the motor’s power. The bearing of the boiler feed pump in my home is a sliding bearing; the standard specified for me is no more than 4 mm/s. The vibration standards for the pump are determined based on those set for rotating machinery by Sinopec, with the motor’s power serving as the basis for these standards.
For standard GB JB bearings, the temperature rise shall not exceed 40 degrees above the ambient temperature, with the maximum temperature not exceeding 80 °C.
