Recently, the raw gas compressor for the natural gas purification and liquefaction unit in the Jingbian natural gas storage and peak-shaving project, as part of the overall contract undertaken by Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., successfully completed its no-load test run. All technical parameters met the design requirements, resulting in a successful test run from the first attempt. As an important piece of equipment in the LNG production line, this feed gas compressor plays a key role in compressing and pressurizing the upstream feed gas; its operational performance has a direct impact on the production efficiency, energy consumption, and long-term operational stability of the entire facility. The success of this test run marks a solid step forward for the project toward operational deployment. To ensure absolute reliability, the project team provided full support to the owner throughout the commissioning process. During this period, the compressor went through key stages such as low-speed warm-up, speed-up testing, and critical speed crossing, and ultimately operated stably at the designed speed, with all performance parameters exceeding the design specifications. The project leader stated that the successful test run has laid a solid foundation for subsequent load-testing and the coordinated commissioning of the entire facility. The project team will maintain a rigorous approach to ensure that this **energy strategy project is put into operation on schedule and with high quality. It is reported that once the Jingbian LNG project is operational at full capacity, it will have the ability to process 2 million cubic meters of natural gas per day, which is of great significance for enhancing regional peak-shaving capabilities and optimizing the energy structure.
