The company plans to install a boiler in its factory in Kunshan. I would like to seek advice from experts regarding this installation – what procedures are required, and are there any recommendations for the equipment and the installation company. 1. The boiler is required to have a capacity of 1.5 T/hr, with a steam generation pressure of 0.6–0.8 MPa; the equipment is planned to be installed in a factory building near Zhouzhi Town, Kunshan City. 2. Should a fuel boiler or a gas boiler be chosen? If there is no gas pipeline network in the vicinity, is it possible to use bottled gas? 3. It turns out that there was no design for a boiler room within the factory area; is it necessary to go to a design firm or some other agency to arrange for a boiler room to be built in a suitable location within the factory area? 4. If I install a fuel boiler, which authorities do I need to approach for approval and permits, such as the fire department, environmental protection agencies, quality supervision departments, etc.? Do I need to deal with all of them? I asked a few people a few days ago; some said an environmental impact assessment was required, while others said it wasn’t. 5. Are there any recommendations for boilers? Since they won’t be used frequently, I don’t want to invest in a very expensive model, but the key components such as the burner should still be of good quality. 6. Is it better to choose a horizontal or vertical boiler? Is there any difference in price? 7. We welcome everyone to provide information; those who are already involved in this field are especially encouraged to apply on their own initiative. I’m not sure if I can leave my contact information: QQ2880181158

The natural gas consumption at a rate of 1.5 T/hr is approximately 120 cubic meters per hour. When using liquefied gas for filling, additional design work is required for storage tanks, as well as measures for pressure reduction and safety; it is therefore more reasonable to purchase natural gas from a gas supply company and lay pipelines, especially considering the long-term operation of the project. 3. The design of the boiler room is carried out by a design institute; it is best to approach the original design company that was responsible for the construction of the factory site, as most of the relevant documents for that site are stored there. Find another institute; you still need to provide a lot of information to the design institute. 4. Approval is required for fire safety, environmental protection, and boiler inspection. How to proceed? Consult the local **authority. 5. Compare prices from different suppliers; ask the design team to include more costs in the design phase to produce a high-quality design. At the time of purchase, press the manufacturer for further price reductions in accordance with the design requirements. However, you get what you pay for. 6. Small boilers are generally vertical; a horizontal type with a capacity of 1.5 T/h is better as it has a lower center of gravity.
Thank you very much. The design institute has now completed the design for the boiler room. The procedures for environmental and fire safety approvals are in progress. But the final supplier for the boiler has not yet been determined. I was wondering if you know what the common boiler brands are, where their brands stand in terms of quality, and what their prices are. Do you have any recommendations?
