What does H stand for in 304H and 347H?
Does it mean heat-resistant steel?
In ASME materials, does the letter H indicate the carbon content? For example, 304H refers to S30409, while 304L refers to S30403

According to the standards for steel pipes, the carbon content in 304H and 347H is 0.04–0.1%. For the 304 and 347 standards, the maximum carbon content is specified as 0.08%, with no requirement for a minimum carbon content.
H has a slightly higher carbon content; there is a minimum requirement for this content, and it is generally used in environments with higher temperatures
