As the title suggests, Figure TS21 shows the definition of the scope for pressure vessels; what does \"direct connection\" mean?
Direct connection can be understood as being directly connected to the pressure vessel itself, rather than being an accessory installed in a piping system
Attachments that are connected directly to the pressure vessel itself, rather than being installed within a piping system.
Safety relief devices and instruments connected to the piping system are not covered under the management of pressure vessels.
It can be connected by threads or flanges
Connected directly to the pressure vessel body
Safety valves (other than rupture disks), as well as instruments, are either installed directly on the equipment itself or on the system pipes connected to the equipment.
I agree with everyone's opinion. It is connected directly to the pressure vessel body, with no other piping components required to connect the safety accessories and equipment.
It is not installed through pipes, but rather on flanges or threaded bases.
