Caused by insufficient oil supply for a long time. Check whether there is any oil leakage in the oil supply pipe, or whether the oil pipe is broken or blocked. What is the quality of the oil? For reference.

I have also encountered the situation where the babbitt alloy of the big head tile of the reciprocator fell off, but it was not as serious as yours. When the compressor is running normally, the oil pressure is not low, the tile temperature is not high, and the vibration is not large. When cleaning the lubricating oil filter element, metal powder was found. I stopped to check the crankcase and found that there was a lot of bus alloy powder at the bottom of the oil tank. I disassembled and inspected the main bearing bush and the big head bush of the compressor and found that it looked like the picture (first overhaul). The current analysis is that it is caused by uneven bearing clearance.
