The return oil before the heater in a fuel boiler is cold return oil, while that before the burner valve assembly after the heater is hot return oil. How are these two flow rates determined? How do engineers make selections when working on designs? Also, is hot oil return necessary? Can it be eliminated?
The purpose of heating is to improve the fluidity of the fuel oil, thereby facilitating its transportation. The amount of oil returned is determined by the oil pipeline system and the characteristics of the oil gun; if unsure, consult the equipment manufacturer. Oil guns from different manufacturers will have different amounts of oil returned under the same output conditions. .
