In normal operation under high load conditions, it is generally the case that the return material temperature is higher than the bed temperature; nevertheless, a large amount of heat is still removed through external circulation. Reasons for high return material temperature: 1. Large amount of circulating ash, which is related to the type of coal used for combustion and the separation efficiency of the cyclone separator ； 2. Oxygen-deficient combustion takes place inside the furnace; the carbon content of the recycled ash is particularly high, and it burns again in the return feeder ； 3. The ratio of air to coal is inappropriate; the proportion of primary air is high, and the high wind speed results in a significant increase in the smoke’s carrying capacity, thereby increasing the amount of material that is returned
