Appendix B of GB150.1 states only that when overpressure may occur during the operation of the vessel, it shall be equipped as required. . . . Does that mean it’s sufficient to equip them with safety valves and other accessories, without regard to factors such as the category of the pressure vessel or the medium used in its operation? Is it set only in situations where overpressure is possible? How do you guys set it up in practice?
Devices that are not subject to overpressure do not require safety valves, but it is necessary to take into account all possible scenarios of overpressure.
