In the 75T circulating fluidized bed boiler, the flue brick wall at the upper part of the superheater keeps bulging; it needs to be repaired every year. What is the reason for this? The wall facing straight on is in poor condition; one side of it is bulging as well, while the other side is in better shape.
Check if there is any drift
These are issues related to design and installation quality; in the design, heavy furnace walls require load-relief layers, interconnecting layers, and expansion joints – without these, problems will arise. Problems also occur when the installation is not carried out in accordance with the design

This phenomenon occurs on all three sides of the furnace wall, to varying degrees; it can’t be that there is air leakage on all of them, right?
There is a gap between the outer protective panel and the bricks; when air leaks in, it flows through any cracks or gaps in the bricks, and it’s not clear in which direction it goes
Such problems occur when there are issues with deflection, expansion joints during construction, and associated fixations.
