I’m in contact with a device made of titanium-steel composite material; I’ve read many posts online and downloaded several drawings, but they are all assembly diagrams without component drawings, so I still can’t determine the details. I have the following questions for the experienced senior teachers: 1. Can TA2 be used in a fertilizer solution with chloride ions at a pH of 2–2.5 and at a temperature of around 110°? 2. The flange welding ring is made of titanium, but what should be the thickness of this ring? I see that on some drawings it is 3 mm thick, on some it is 6 mm, and on some it is 4 mm. 3. Is it easy to implement using a too-small take over with a titanium lining? Such as DN18 and DN25 fittings. 4. If a small-diameter fitting is made of titanium tube directly, how can it be welded to a composite plate? 5. What is the minimum diameter of tube that can be rolled from titanium-steel composite plates? I see that for pipes with a DN400 diameter, composite panels are also used – is it possible to do the same? There are quite a few questions; I would appreciate it if everyone could offer their advice. Thank you so much! ! !
Thank you for your reply. Are you referring to the dimensions of the welding ring on the loose-flange of 20592? That’s so thick.

Can titanium-steel composite plate equipment use butt-welded loose-flange connections? Please have the original poster confirm again
Thank you for your reply. If the casing is carbon steel with a titanium lining, it probably won’t work, as the dimensions won’t match.
