Must quality assurance engineers for pressure vessels be those who have completed training and assessments? Can a registered mechanical engineer take on this position directly?
Aren’t you afraid not knowing the relevant knowledge? Am I safe? Is the product safe?
It seems that certification must be obtained through the China Chemical Equipment Industry Association
What we produce are distilled water machines, using non-toxic and non-explosive materials. We don’t work on other pressure vessels.
They must be those who have passed training assessments.
It’s not one of the three types of containers, right? So no assessment is required.
We don’t need that here; having a professional title or educational qualifications is sufficient
We are Class D1 and D2 pressure vessels, suitable at most for use as distilled water storage tanks. Normally, for distilled water machines, only Category 1 is produced; Category 2 is not even made.
The China Chemical Equipment Association has been involved in this field for quite some time and is highly authoritative; what it offers is indeed useful to learn. However, the General Administration for Quality Supervision does not make this mandatory; it is possible to work as a quality assurance engineer without such a certificate.
