What does the factory documentation for pressure pipeline components include? Additionally, do current standards require supervision and inspection only for submerged arc welded pipes and polyethylene pipes, with no such requirements for others? Thank you
Article 18: Pipeline component manufacturers shall provide product quality certification documents stamped with the manufacturer’s quality inspection seal, in accordance with the batch size of the components supplied. For pipeline components subject to supervised inspection, they shall also provide a supervision inspection certificate issued by a special equipment inspection and testing institution. The quality certification documents for pipeline components include product certificates of conformity and quality certificates. A product certificate generally includes the product name, number, specifications and model, as well as the applicable standards (for the specific format, see Attachment B). In addition to the contents of the product qualification certificate, a quality certificate generally should also include the following: (1) Chemical composition of the materials ; (II) Mechanical properties of materials and welded joints ; (III) Heat treatment condition ; (IV) Non-destructive testing results ; (5) Results of voltage withstanding test (applicable as specified in relevant safety technical specifications and their corresponding standards, or in the contract) ; (VI) Results of type testing (applicable to those requiring type testing) ; (7) Other inspection items specified in the product standards or contract ; (8) Quality certification for the semi-finished or finished products outsourced. Piping supports shall provide product quality certification documents in accordance with the provisions of relevant safety technical specifications and their corresponding standards. Product certificate of conformity and quality certificate, along with the signatures of the quality inspection personnel and quality assurance engineers from the manufacturing unit.
Article 19: Pipeline components shall be marked individually with labels. The markings generally include the manufacturer’s code or trademark, permission symbols, material information (grade, specifications, batch number), product number, etc., and must comply with the requirements of relevant hazardous materials safety regulations and standards. When the product specifications are too small to accommodate all information, labels can be used or some content can be omitted in accordance with relevant requirements. Trace from the product label to the quality certification documents.
Is it okay to have only a quality certificate and no compliance certificate?
Supervision and inspection for the manufacturing of submerged arc welded pipes and polyethylene pipes have both been suspended. . . The product certificate of conformity and the quality certificate are basically combined on the same piece of paper. . .
Thank you, are there any specific documents regarding the suspension of supervision and inspection for the manufacturing of submerged arc welded pipes and polyethylene pipes?
Check the supervision regulations; there are detailed explanations in them
There is a document on the AQSIQ website. . . This can be easily found
