The 75t/h waste heat boiler currently in use by the unit is ignited using charcoal on the bed; this ignition method is not only costly but also has a low success rate； I now want to convert it to under-bed ignition. Which boiler manufacturers are offering such conversions, and what is the performance of these conversions?
Any Class A boiler factory can carry out this modification; it involves no changes to the heating surfaces, only the addition of burners in the primary air chamber, the lining of that chamber with refractory material, and the installation of additional local hot air ducts.
Contact some manufacturers that produce coal-fired boilers; they can all do this work – by installing fuel igniters or gas igniters. For fuel systems, an oil pump and oil tank are necessary, while for gas systems, it’s necessary to get in touch with the natural gas company
The cost of igniting under the bed is lower than that of igniting above the bed, but it requires more physical effort and is not as easy as igniting under the bed. The success rate of igniting above the bed depends on the skill level of the operator
