For vertical vessels, EHB508x12(10.56): is the depth of the inner curved surface of the head hi or ho?

The depth of the inner curved surface of the cover, and the height of the outer curved surface – that’s how I understand it
The conditional quote has been confirmed; WN500-600 flanges are to be used. For vertical vessels, the calculation is based on the inner diameter. Is the outer surface depth of the head still ho?

When performing strength checks on the end cap, if the inner diameter is used as the basis (inner diameter formula 5-1), then the depth of the inner curve should be entered; If the outer diameter is used as the basis (outer diameter formula 5-2), then enter the outer surface height.
Based on the outer diameter, that is ho; for example, in the case of pipe ends or pipe caps
This problem doesn’t occur when doing calculations by hand; it’s sufficient to use the outer diameter. Currently, for SW6 vertical tanks, only the inner diameter is taken into account. For the end cap of EHB508X12, the depth of the inner curve remains either ho=127mm or hi=115mm. I saw on forums that some values of 484/4=121mm are mentioned as well – which value should be used when entering SW6?

For standard elliptical heads: EHA is based on the inner diameter, while EHB is based on the outer diameter; these values are divided by 4 and then the height of the straight edges of the head is added to obtain the standard head height. The height of EHA corresponds to the inner surface of the head, whereas the height of EHB corresponds to the outer surface of the head. The head of the post owner does not conform to the standard head; its height is 152 mm.
