What is the function of the lining baffles in catalytic cracking unit equipment? Where are lining baffles needed?
Mainly to fix the turtle shell mesh and provide protective lining； At the joints of manholes, loading/unloading holes, connections, and segmented linings.
The lining baffle serves two purposes: 1) it blocks the gap between the open connection pipe and the lining, preventing smoke or oil-gas from entering the lining and thus avoiding its erosion； 2 is for small-diameter equipment; since it is not possible to enter the equipment to line its interior, baffles are added at the joints between the equipment sections to facilitate assembly. Location of the lining baffle: at manholes, loading/unloading holes, pipe connections, and the interfaces of segmented lining equipment.
