I took a look and I don’t know where the poster got the screenshot. There is no anti-loosening lug structure, and why is H smaller than the diameter of the stud bolt?

The screenshot is from the 2004 edition of the "Chemical Equipment Design Manual", which is considered an older reference book. When you say H is smaller than the diameter, this probably uses the B-type structure in NB/T 47027, so H is smaller than the thread diameter, but larger than the polished rod part.

The cost of this structure is high enough. The tube plate forging requires dozens of mm more outer diameter, just for two or four holes.
