Which standard, GB14907-2012 or GB14907-2018, is applicable to bottled fireproof coatings in the market today? Can an outdoor ultra-thin fireproof coating with a thickness of 2 mm meet a fire resistance rating of 2 hours in accordance with the GB14907-2012 standard? If 2 hours cannot be tolerated, can the fire resistance rating not be increased by thickening the coating? The fire resistance rating of the fireproof coating for spherical tanks is 2 hours; according to GB14907-2018, which specific model should be chosen?
Could you also define what is meant by “fire resistance limit”, what fire is, and how the relationship between fire and temperature varies for different materials when they burn? Thank you :)
