At present, the amount of nitrogen used in my system is relatively small; liquid nitrogen is used and passes through a vaporizer, which results in significant waste since the gas that evaporates on its own is discarded. Is it possible to install a pipeline after the pressure relief valve to make use of this gas that evaporates on its own? The pressure relief valve is a manual valve; if pipes are to be used, a tee will be installed along with a new pressure relief valve and check valve. Doesn’t the liquid nitrogen storage tank have an economic loop? There is an economic loop, so the vapor that evaporates spontaneously is used first. It also depends on whether your storage tank has an economic circuit; if it does, just turn it on and use it. The gas coming out through the pipeline installed after the pressure relief valve is cooler; will this have an impact on the equipment you use afterward?

In this way, when the pressure is high, the vapor phase valve opens (while the liquid phase valve remains closed); when the pressure is low, the liquid phase valve opens (while the vapor phase valve remains closed). If both the liquid phase and gas phase are opened simultaneously and the check valve has a slight leak, the storage tank will continue to build up pressure. The safety valve will keep tripping over and over again. Therefore, this check valve does not need to be installed, but remember that only one valve can be opened for the liquid phase and the gas phase. The modification of this pipeline can be carried out by the original installers.

Valves are not considered safety accessories. In this configuration, if there is a mistake and both the liquid-phase and gas-phase valves are opened, the pressure in the storage tank may keep rising, causing the safety valve to activate repeatedly. The annual review is fine. If you make the changes yourself, you will have to take responsibility for any problems that arise. It is best to have the tank manufacturer handle the piping. Buying a storage tank without an economic loop costs 2,000 yuan less, but it’s not worth it.
