A problem in 3D CAD

In the CAD 3D modeling environment, the frames created using rectangular prism or cylinder tools should be editable by double-clicking to change their length, width, and height. However, when a CAD file is reopened after being saved, sometimes after performing copy-paste operations, the rectangular prisms and cylinders in those frames become uneditable upon double-click – it’s not possible to change their lengths, and the lengths are not displayed in the properties panel. I haven’t performed any other operations on these rectangular prisms. I hope the experts can answer!
Give up on learning the 3D features of AutoCAD quickly – don’t waste time on it.
For drawings like this, which software is the best to use?

Leaving other things aside, how can you create a BOM table with this tool? It’s exhausting work; and even if you only create visual renders, are they really good-looking?
SolidWorks is better than this; there are also other professional programs such as ProII for piping design, and Plant for designing electronic factories. In any case, pirated versions of these programs aren’t common. It might be difficult for an individual to learn them on their own, but if you’re in school, there’s no problem learning them. If you need to use them at work and your company can’t afford professional software for designing factory installations, then SolidWorks is the perfect choice. The main issue is that pirated versions are widespread, but there are many tutorial videos available. . .
The drawing is good. Double-click to edit? Size-driven, is that it? Maybe not necessarily; it seems to exist in 2D, but it’s not used. Tools like SOLID can generally handle it
