Upon reviewing the technical specifications for the on-site installation of automatic monitoring (testing) systems for fixed pollution sources, T/CAEPI 11-2017, I found it a bit difficult to understand.
Which specification is this? Industry standards or corporate standards? The terminology used itself is not standardized!
The standards of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association should be considered industry standards. By the way, what does it roughly mean? I don’t quite understand this statement.
Is it a margin left to prevent it from falling down after installation?
I really haven’t heard of this standard you mentioned, but a 5° inclination of the mounting flange is generally required during gas detection sampling in order to prevent smoke from condensing and flowing back into the sampling equipment. Relevant documents on the monitoring of gaseous pollutants also state that \"the flange end of gaseous pollutant sensors should be tilted upward by 5° to reduce the entry of condensate into the sampling gas path.\"
It’s designed so that any fluid buildup inside can flow out smoothly. Many testing instruments are designed this way. Some manholes also have this requirement
