In a heat exchanger, if hydrogen sulfide is used in the tube side, how should heat treatment for that side be considered?
Fixed tube sheet type? Floating head type? U-tube type?
The two tube boxes are subjected to overall heat treatment, while the joints between the heat exchange tubes and the tube sheets are treated locally.
Heat treatment of tube boxes is straightforward, but that of tube ends is not so easy; quality control presents great challenges.
Overall heat treatment is carried out on the tube box; the tube sheet and shell also undergo overall heat treatment. Strict control of the furnace temperature is required, which demands experience.
