Everyone, what are the requirements to establish a private pressure vessel design firm now? This is my goal; I want to learn more about it first.
You can take a look at Appendix C of the \"Rules for Licensing Special Equipment Production and Filling Units\" – there are quite a few requirements, and the number of personnel required is also much higher than before.
I have no special requirements; the main thing is to get orders and projects. I’ll register first – I’m qualified for both GB and ASME standards.
It mainly involves design sites, design tools, and designers (licensed and experienced professionals). Then collect evidence according to TSG rules. I work in pressure vessel design and can serve as a replacement.
The forums are full of experts who have provided a lot of help. It seems like all that’s missing is a job where one doesn’t have to go to work, doesn’t have to take any responsibilities, and still gets paid. I’ll do this!
The biggest problem is the people involved; those responsible for design, proofreading, review, and approval all need to have relevant work experience – it’s not enough to just gather a group of people randomly. For example, in terms of design, one must have worked at a qualified company for over a year ； Both review and approval are required for heat exchangers, spherical tanks, and high-pressure vessels.

Collect at least 10 designs, 2 reviews, and 1 approval. Senior professional title. The others are easy to handle; however, there are hardly any designs that consist solely of hardware – most of them require engineering design as well
