Questions regarding the new version of GB12145-2016: Table 2, Boiler feedwater quality – Dissolved oxygen. Only full-volatilization treatment and oxygenation treatment are listed. Does this imply that all boilers covered by GB12145 must use AVT(O) full-volatilization treatment? Table 9: Quality of boiler make-up water. There is no range of 3.8–5.8 MPa; what standard does this range correspond to? Please provide the source.
You can think of it this way: even if you use other processing methods, the higher standard still has to be met. If it isn’t listed in Attachment 9, then no regulations apply; as long as the quality of the water produced meets the requirements, that’s sufficient.
