Does this fee include costs for thickness measurement, flaw detection, etc.? I see a form for regular inspection here: it’s for a new furnace with a 2-year warranty, with a capacity of 25 tons. The inspection cost is 8,000; this includes flaw detection, thickness measurement, and hardness testing. The total cost comes to 43,000. Is this reasonable?

It used to be the responsibility of the Quality Supervision Bureau, but now it seems that any organization with the necessary testing qualifications can handle it, so you might want to consult several different organizations.
The number of thickness measurement points, the amount of non-destructive testing, etc., are all included in the regular inspection report

I just think that for a 25-ton furnace, having over 900 thickness measurements, 200 flaw inspections, and 200 sets of hardness tests seems like a bit much. It may vary from province to province. We conduct regular inspections at the municipal special inspection institute, and the fee standards are public. You might think they check too many items, but they certainly won’t violate any regulations; think about why by yourself – once you understand it, there’s no need to explain further.
