Currently, NOx emissions are just over 100. In accordance with local special limit requirements, it must be modified to emit less than 80mg. I consulted some burner manufacturers, and some said that central combustion boilers cannot be successfully converted to low-nitrogen combustion. Not understanding the principle behind it, I have the following doubts: 1. Is a wet-back three-pass boiler a type of central combustion boiler? Is the central flashback type a type of burner? 2. Is it possible to carry out low-nitrogen modifications by replacing the burner with a low-nitrogen one? 3. Are there any successful cases? Recommend one for me. Thank you. 1. Central reburning is a smoke return method for boilers, and it has nothing to do with the burner; 2. Generally, central flashback occurs in 2 cycles; a design with 3 cycles for central flashback is not considered ; 3. Even in the case of central re-ignition, it can be modified to below 80mg; I’ve discussed this with the burner manufacturers ; 4. There are too many cases; to avoid the appearance of advertising, I won’t mention them!

Answer: Central reburning is a structural feature of boilers, in which the combustion flame turns back inside the furnace and enters the flue pipes through the front smoke box. 2. Is it possible to carry out low-nitrogen modifications by replacing the burner with a low-nitrogen one? Answer: By replacing the burner with a low-nitrogen one and adding flue gas recirculation, flue gas emissions can be reduced to below 80 mg/N3. 3. Are there any successful cases? Recommend one for me. Answer: Any burner manufacturer can now achieve these low emissions.
Just adjust it directly to below 30; there’s no need to bother with 80 – it will have to be changed anyway sooner or later

Since the smoke pipe is not on the burner side, at the back of the boiler, is it still considered a central backfire type?
I have that intention as well. However, recent information indicates that for this type of backfire boiler, the furnace size is limited. It is said that the flame size and shape of low-nitrogen burners differ from those of the originally designed burners, and they may not be suitable for the furnace dimensions of this type of boiler. Some burner manufacturers state that it is possible to achieve 80 mg for this type of boiler, but values lower than that are not suitable.
