1: I’ve never seen such a valve before; it’s a gate valve, but the length of its packing can reach one meter… 2: The safety valve has a diaphragm at its front; I don’t understand what function and principle that diaphragm serves, and I couldn’t find any information on it online either… 3: The auxiliary valves for safety valves are usually globe valves. Comparing them with gate valves, it can be inferred that the possibility of leakage within a globe valve is lower than that of a gate valve – is that correct? 4: Are there no drain lines in modern tower reactors these days? The tower bottom has only one line for product removal and for going to the reboiler… 5: Perhaps my question is quite basic; please give me some guidance. Thank you!
