The degreasing agent must not come into contact with strong acids or strong bases. 6. It is strictly prohibited to mix different solvents or use them outside their appropriate scope. 7. The degreasing agent must come with a product quality certificate. 8. Degreasing procedures should be established based on the working medium, pipe material, pipe diameter, and degree of contamination. 9. For pipes with obvious oil stains or severe rust, steam cleaning, pickling, or other methods should be used first to remove the oil and rust, before proceeding with degreasing. 10. During degreasing, the object to be degreased must not contain any moisture. 11. The degreased parts should be dried naturally in the atmosphere with ventilation for 24 hours. It can also be dried using nitrogen or dry air. 12. After degreasing, the degreased components must be inspected by the specialized inspectors from the construction unit, the owner, and the supervision unit; only upon passing such inspection can they proceed to the next stage of processing. 13. Tubes that have passed the degreasing process should have their openings sealed promptly to prevent further contamination during subsequent processing steps. 14. When degreasing pipelines, the “Pipeline System Degreasing Record” should be filled out carefully. 15. Spills and leaks of the degreaser should be prevented from reaching the floor. The spilled solvent should be immediately absorbed with sawdust, sand, etc., and collected together with the fabrics used for degreasing in a dedicated, sealed metal container. 16. The discharge of degreasing residues and pollutants shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of **relevant standards. 17. The solvent remaining after degreasing should be returned to the warehouse and stored properly.
