Regarding the selection of wall thickness grades

Can the no-pressure vessel stainless steel equipment connections be selected based on the corresponding wall thickness grade for process pipelines? For example, should 40S be used for sizes below DN50 and 10S for sizes above DN50, or should the minimum wall thickness specified in HG/T20581 be followed?
It’s usually 40S, I guess. Another point to consider is opening reinforcement. 10S is probably rarely used on the device

It’s not entirely clear if there are specific regulations regarding the pipes, but for the several projects involved in this area, it is required that the pipe fittings on the equipment have a wall thickness of 40S. The matching flanges provided are also mainly 40S; occasionally, a few with slightly larger diameters use 10S
