Disadvantages of sieve plate towers: The small-pore sieve holes are prone to clogging, so they are not suitable for handling dirty, viscous fluids or those containing solid particles. Operational flexibility refers to the ratio of the maximum load (i.e., the maximum processing capacity) to the minimum load (i.e., the minimum processing capacity) of a device while it remains in normal operation. The higher the operational flexibility of a device, the better its performance, as this enables the equipment to maintain stable operation and high efficiency even when loads fluctuate.
