Regarding the error in SW6 software when Q235B material is used for shells, GB/T150.2 stipulates that the design pressure when Q235B material is used for shells is less than 1.6MPa, but the SW6 software also calculates when the design pressure is 1.6MPa.

Why not calculate it? The design pressure of a pressure vessel that complies with the requirements of the Capacity Regulations and GB150 when the material is Q235-B is less than 1.6MPa. It does not say that the gauge pressure in other applications must also be less than 1.6MPa.
SW6 process equipment strength calculation software does not say that it must calculate pressure vessels within the jurisdiction of the "Capacity Regulation" and GB150.
SW6 process equipment strength calculation software, for materials not available in GB150, such as 304. 316, etc. allow users to customize the strength data of materials, so SW6 is a process equipment strength calculation software. As for the use of this material that does not comply with the regulations of "Capacity Regulations" and GB150, it needs to be determined by the designer.

If the design pressure exceeds the standard limit for materials, the software will not calculate it and a prompt will appear. The attached picture illustrates this situation. For Q235B, when the design pressure is 1.7MPa, the software does not calculate it. The software will also prompt if the temperature and thickness exceed the standard limits. The software is compiled based on standards such as GB150, GB151, GB12337, NB/T47041, and NB/T47042.
