The deaerator temperature can only reach 100 degrees, and the oxygen discharge valve does not discharge steam. If the steam valve is opened further, the temperature will rise again, but the water seal will activate and the oxygen discharge valve will start to release steam, causing the pressure in the deaerator to instantly exceed its limit. Adding a set of water seals didn’t work either; could it be that the oxygen discharge valve is too small, or that the internal structure of the deaerator is damaged?
Reaching the design temperature is sufficient; deoxygenated water that meets the standards will do. This situation will definitely occur when deoxygenated water vaporizes due to excessively high temperatures. It is recommended that you control the temperature and consider the quality of the deoxygenated water in order to determine whether the oxygen discharge valve is too small.
It seems that the load on you is low; most of the water pumped by the boiler feed pump returns to the water tank, which results in high pressure in that tank. By increasing the pressure in the deaerator, you also increase the temperature of the water in the deaerator tank, and then the water seal will activate. I’m not sure if this is correct, as that’s exactly the reason we encountered in the past
