Have any seniors used ANSYS to perform stress analysis on multi-layer bellows? How exactly is modeling done? I’ve read some papers that mention using shell elements for modeling, but I’m not quite clear about the specific process. Contact relationships need to be established between layers – how can this be done using shell elements? I’ve been trying for a long time to figure out how to assess stress based on the specific results, and no one around me has done this before; I haven’t made any progress yet.
