Previously, the assignment for the SAD defense at the Rongbiao Committee was a predefined topic: fatigue analysis of vessels with headers and cone shells. This topic is mentioned in Professor Li Jianguo’s textbook. Since the workbench was not used very often in the past, the reports available online were all prepared using ANSYS Classic for calculations. Given that the design involved details such as fillets on the connections, it was quite inconvenient to use classical modeling methods and meshing techniques for such cases. Today, Workbench has been highly developed; it enables rapid modeling and meshing of such structures (often just a few mouse clicks are required, with no need for complex settings). For post-processing, solution combination can be used to quickly obtain stress amplitudes, which is very convenient.
