Carbon steel threads are used inside the equipment

The equipment body is also made of carbon steel; in this case, is it reliable to use carbon steel fasteners inside the equipment? I’m worried that the threads might get corroded and damaged; I’m not sure if that happens
Plain carbon steel will do; since the cylinder is made of carbon steel, corrosion isn’t a concern, and there should be no problems with the fasteners as well. Of course, using stainless steel or something similar would be even better. There must be people who do this.
Everything used inside the equipment is there to enhance its strength; in other words, it’s a device whose integrity is crucial, so it’s usually secured with bolts and then welded together
