I seek advice from experts: Is it necessary to install an explosion-proof door on a heat transfer oil furnace? Must the setting location be within the furnace body? Is it feasible to install it in the flue? Are there any standards that set clear requirements?

The safety valve you are referring to is part of the furnace tube system, while I am talking about the flue gas system. Theoretically, explosion-proof doors should indeed be installed in the furnace chamber, but ensuring proper sealing there is a challenge. I’m considering placing them on the flue ducts; I wonder if there are any relevant standards regarding the installation of explosion-proof doors

What is the difference between a furnace chamber and a flue when they are sealed? Could it be a positive-pressure furnace?

The radiation chamber should be equipped with explosion-proof doors; one such door is required for every 100 m3 of furnace volume, and the area of each door must be no less than 0.2㎡. 2. When a furnace is divided into several compartments, each compartment must have at least one explosion-proof door. 3. The explosion-proof door should open smoothly and seal well when closed. The explosion-proof door should be installed in a location where it will not pose a threat to the safety of people and equipment in the event of an explosion.
May I ask which standard this comes from?
This standard shouldn’t be a requirement that oil-fired heaters must follow, right?
