I understand that carbon steel has a wide range of applications; drawing and polishing are possible. I’m not sure what the requirements for a matte finish are. Randomly mixed together: lol
Isn’t all of this used for stainless steel? There is also mirror polishing. . . . . . . . . .
The question doesn’t seem to mean that, right?:) It specifically refers to “carbon steel”; it seems like any type will do.
Carbon steel can also be polished to a mirror finish; take a look at what the grinding machine produces – it’s bright enough, right? . .
Does matte finishing require chemical etching? ;P

Can it be a mirror version? Where is it from? The effect of using it on me wasn’t significant; even with a mirror finish, it still corroded quite quickly, making it not worth the effort.
Can carbon steel be polished, textured, or brushed? What is the significance of this?
I really have never seen carbon steel treated in this way.
