Based on Figure 1, the interpretation of TSG21-2016 states that items 1.4.1–1.4.2 can be classified as Class I pressure vessels. I recall that during training it was mentioned they should all be regarded as simple pressure vessels. So, does this mean that everything covered under section 1.4 falls under the category of simple pressure vessels? According to the code, simple pressure vessels are all classified as Class I. In 1.4.1, there is a type of vessel called an ultra-high pressure tubular reactor – is it appropriate to classify this as Class I as well? There is another issue as shown in Figure 2; this question seems to be incorrect. It’s an old question, and according to the classification, it should be categorized as Type I. Moreover, according to the tolerance specifications, 1.4.1–1.4.2 state that it is only necessary to meet the general requirements and such, right? The general requirements include classification under 1.7; classification is indeed required, isn’t it?
1.4 All the contents relate to simple pressure vessels, Category I. The question asks for an estimate; in other words, no further classification is needed, as they are all simple pressure vessels
When applying for it as a simple pressure vessel, it can be classified accordingly; in that case, sampling for inspection should suffice
