I’m seeking advice from everyone – can a pressure vessel have only one opening, to which a pressure gauge, safety valve, etc. are connected?

What is commonly seen is a hydraulic test conducted by the manufacturer, with two pressure gauges connected through a tee, sharing one interface for the equipment. In actual design, even if the properties of the medium are ignored and the operating principles of various instruments influence one another, safety valves, pressure gauges, etc. are equipped with separate interfaces to facilitate observation and maintenance during the equipment’s use. :)

There are no standard specifications regarding the installation of instruments. For example, 200 from the head, 300 from the center line – these are all guiding principles, meant to facilitate observation and recording. Additionally, a safety valve is not an ordinary monitoring instrument; it is quite special as it relates to discharge. After saying all this, it can be summarized in one sentence: unless there are special circumstances, I do not recommend connecting to a single interface. It’s also possible that the standards I’m not aware of have been set; please listen to everyone’s opinions as well.

It should be fine to install it on the flange cover of a large pipe opening, as long as it does not interfere with the proper functioning of the safety relief device.
The pressure gauge should be installed in a location where the pressure remains relatively stable. If the pressure gauge and the safety valve are mounted on the same pipe connection, the pressure indicated by the gauge is likely to differ significantly from the actual pressure inside the container.
Many manufacturers do design it this way: a hole is made on the side of the flange connection at the safety valve outlet, and a pipe is attached to it to connect to the pressure gauge.
