Either way will work first, you have to make a sample and set it out.
This structure is inappropriate. Generally, vertical pipes, bent pipes and straight pipes are welded to the central opening at the bottom of the head, and then filtering and other pipe fittings are installed on the pipes. This seriously does not meet the structural and stress requirements.
This equipment is a bag filter, and the customer requested that a tube be inserted horizontally at the bottom.
Regardless of the rationality of the structural design, we only focus on how to process and manufacture. In this case, both the head and the nozzle need to be set out to make a full-scale model. Use the sample to draw the lines before processing. Therefore, it does not matter the order of the head and the nozzle. As long as the model is qualified, just cut it strictly according to the line drawn on the model.
It is better to make holes first and then draw intersecting lines.
The long axis and short axis of the Cad lofted elliptical hole are the diameter of the nozzle and the hole is made on the head.
