The jacket material is 16MnDR; the inner cylinder operates at atmospheric pressure and is made of stainless steel S30408. Is this reactor designed and manufactured as a low-temperature pressure vessel? Does the jacket need to be equipped with a test plate at +50% RT?
It must be manufactured in accordance with the standards for low-temperature pressure vessels and GB150
The jacket falls under the scope of GB/T150; it is constructed as a low-temperature vessel and must include product welding test pieces, with local inspections at RT50%.
If it is in a low-temperature and low-stress operating condition, it does not need to be manufactured as a low-temperature vessel.
The jacket made of 16MnDR material should meet the corresponding technical requirements for low-temperature vessels.
It doesn’t fall into the jacket category; no inspection is required, and it’s not covered by the dimensional specifications
Does the first jacket have a gas phase space, and is that space larger than 30L? If not, then the jacket does not qualify as a special equipment. If it exceeds the limit, it should be determined whether it falls under low-temperature and low-stress operating conditions; if so, there is no need to follow the design and manufacturing requirements for low-temperature pressure vessels, whereas if not, those requirements must be followed.
For jacketed cold brine, is 30408 suitable for the inner tube? It gets scrapped after two or three years
