When purchasing many devices within the same plant area, what problems can arise if the interface flanges use different standards? Will this cause difficulties in pipeline installation later on?
Different standards of matching flanges need to be purchased for different flanges, which increases the workload; it is necessary to make distinctions when pairing them
Isn’t this just causing trouble for yourself? Not to mention that the manufacturer/construction party may cause problems during installation, and it also creates many difficulties during production and operation; moreover, a wider variety of spare parts is required.
Some flanges can be paired together despite having different standards, such as HG, SH, and ASME B16.5 flanges – it depends on the specific situation
Why not use the same flange standard system? What were the considerations?
