Due to issues with the machining accuracy of the equipment’s skirt, there is a certain gap between the skirt and the shims after the equipment has been aligned and leveled (with a contact area of 50%). How should this be addressed? Please everyone share your thoughts.

It’s likely that the welding deformation of the skirt seat is to blame; the foundation ring has lifted up. If the area is large, it is better to fabricate some small inclined shims to fill the space and weld them firmly to the shim assembly.
Use Gado combination diagonal braces, level them out, and then secure them in place.
Fill with shims at an angle, level it out, and then weld it in place.
There should be no more than 5 sets of static equipment; is the verticality of the equipment satisfactory?
It’s okay; shims are used for adjustment. As long as the pressure at the point where the skirt seat contacts the shims does not exceed the compressive strength of the steel, that’s sufficient. Generally, it won’t. After adjustment, grouting is carried out; the grouted layer bears the weight of the equipment during operation.
There should be a base plate between the equipment and the foundation; this base plate is manufactured together with the skirt, and then removed. The base plate is then filled using secondary grouting in the foundation pit. Using shims is a last-resort method. The equipment is not subjected to proper stress.
