If there is only one gap, is there no need to open a vent hole? Assuming that the above is true, is it possible to artificially leave a gap like the one mentioned above to replace the ventilation hole on the skirt?

There is no need to set up the gap. I understand that the equivalent effect of the circulation area here is a vague concept, as long as it is ventilated. . . .
My understanding is that the vent hole at the gap can be omitted. The vent hole will not increase the cost much, right?
This is how I understand it: If there are seams on the head, there must be a gap. If there is a gap, no additional vents will be opened.
Can it be understood as: As long as there are enough gaps (comparable to the number of holes that should be made), vent holes are not required.

No need to worry. If there is a weld on the head, a notch is provided. As for the exhaust holes, you can ignore whether to set a gap and just open the holes according to the regulations.
There is nothing wrong with it once you open it, at most it just adds some negligible craftsmanship.
Uh-huh. It doesn't take much to make a hole. Could it be that you have a transition section (such as stainless steel), and the position of the exhaust pipe happens to be in the range of 400-600 in length of the transition section, and lengthening the transition section will increase the cost? So I was wondering if the exhaust hole could be omitted and the transition section could be shortened? It's probably not the situation I'm talking about.
