How are the calculations done for the rolling and sliding supports of horizontal equipment? How to determine the rollers and PTFE sheets?
Sliding supports follow the saddle standard. For rolling bearings, you need to calculate the strength of the rollers.
I don’t think the design institute has calculated it either. Generally, 3-6 mm is used in the diagram
The roller diameter is set at 50 mm; no calculation is needed, and there’s no problem with that
For the tetrafluoride plate, a size of 4–5 mm is sufficient. For the rollers, with a diameter of 40–60 mm, drill 17 holes in them and insert 16-mm screws – that’s all. No one cares about the exact details; this is how it’s done for all kinds of equipment
