For desorption, a device is also needed to recover the material after desorption, and this recovered material must be treated as hazardous waste, which represents an additional cost; it is not necessarily cheaper than replacing the activated carbon. As for the issue of pressure resistance of the equipment, I am not an expert in this field, but from what I understand, rectangular-shaped equipment generally does not have sufficient pressure resistance
Just calculate based on pressure; many ultra-high pressure devices are square in shape.
