Rectangular container reinforcement circle problem?

When calculating the rectangular container today, when choosing a reinforcing ring, one of the items is "reverse equilateral angle steel". My personal understanding is: The plane of the equilateral angle steel is parallel to the plane of the rectangular shell, and one side of the equilateral angle steel is in line contact with the surface of the shell. Not sure if that's right?
Inverted unequal angle steel, does the long side refer to the side perpendicular to the surface of the rectangular shell?
