During the boiler commissioning, there was a hissing sound coming from the water level gauge; personnel were sent to tighten the screws. At the moment the wrench made contact with the screws, the washer was damaged, but no one was injured. This shows the importance of implementing safety measures for maintenance during operation
Head protection should be worn to prevent steam from causing injury.
For weights under 4 kilograms, the bolts can be tightened slightly; tightening them is strictly prohibited for weights over 4 kilograms. Given that gasket damage causes steam leakage, protective clothing and head protection must be worn.
